The Abalone Portal Necklace evolves the sculptural form and clever function of our original Signature Necklace, pairing it with the luminous beauty of abalone shell.
Each piece of abalone is individually hand-cut in my Portland studio, revealing its own tiny landscape of pearl, ocean green, pink and violet. No two pieces are exactly alike—each of the twelve necklaces in this limited edition has its own color, pattern and character.
Beneath the shell, the elongated geometric form conceals High Society's signature sliding mechanism. Move the slider to open the clip, then slide it forward to lock it securely into place. Beautiful at first glance, clever when you know its secret.
The necklace comes on our versatile 34" chain, designed to be worn long or doubled for a shorter layered look. Prefer a shorter chain? Email us after ordering and we're happy to customize the length for you.
